Quinns Advantage™ Sequential Media
The Quinn’s Advantage Sequential Media is designed to combine the most beneficial components of currently available media formulations to emulate the in vivo conditions of the embryo during development to the blastocyst stage. The Quinn’s Advantage Sequential Media product line was the first clinically proven sequential media system designed to optimize the in vitro environment for embryo development.
Quinn’s Advantage™ Fertilization Media was developed to optimize fertilization rates.Today’s most advanced human tubal fluid (HTF), designed for versatility across a wide range of IVF applications, including ART procedures, fertilization of human oocytes, and embryo culture.
Quinn’s Advantage Cleavage Medium meets embryonic metabolism requirements with minimum glucose levels and is phosphate-free. The product also contains alanyl-glutamine, nonessential amino acids, taurine, and citrate.
Quinn’s Advantage Blastocyst Medium combines essential and nonessential amino acids, alanyl-glutamine, taurine, vitamins, phosphate, and high glucose levels, providing nutritional and physiological needs to developing embryos.
-
Alanyl-glutamine – a stable form of glutamine that does not break down into ammonium – also provides alanine, which is necessary for embryo development
-
Taurine acts as an antioxidant, eliminating the extreme effects of cell metabolism
-
Clinically proven to provide improved cleavage rates, reduced embryo fragmentation, improved morphological scores, and produce more embryos for transfer and cryopreservation

Quinns Advantage™ Medium with HEPES
Quinn’s Advantage™ Medium with HEPES was developed for in vitro procedures involving manipulation of gametes and embryos not requiring the use of a CO2 incubator. HEPES buffered human tubal fluid (HTF) has the same components and advantages of our Quinn’s Advantage Fertilization Medium. Modifications to the original formulation include low phosphate and the addition of citrate; EDTA; selected nonessential amino acids, including taurine; alanyl-glutamine as a stable source of glutamine; increased levels of magnesium; and the presence of lactate in the form of calcium lactate.

Hyaluronidase
An enzyme that attacks the hexosaminidic linkage of hyaluronic acid, the glycosaminoglycan that makes up the extracellular matrix holding cumulus cells together (Palermo G et al. Fertil Steril. 1993;59(4):826-835). SAGE Micromanipulation Media are designed to facilitate the in vitro preparation of gametes prior to micromanipulation procedures, such as intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), assisted hatching, and embryo micromanipulation/blastomere removal. All of our micromanipulation media are one-cell fresh mouse embryo quality controlled, resulting in consistent product quality and reliability that enhances your success rates.

Polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP)
Polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) of average molecular weight (360,000) has been used for the intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) procedure to decrease the motility of spermatozoa, prevent their sticking to the injection pipette during the procedure, and to give more control over the flow of fluid in the ICSI needle (Palermo G et al., Fertil Steril., 1993;59(4):826-835). Seven and ten percent viscosities allows for better sperm function as well as improved visibility to detect sperm.

Oil for Tissue Culture
Intended for use in laboratory procedures that may necessitate small volumes of tissue culture medium to be covered with a relatively inert, non-miscible liquid component that allows gas diffusion.
